Lux Hair Care
Here are some hair care tips for your Lux and Lavish customers to help them maintain their human hair bundles and wigs:
• Use a sulfate-free shampoo to wash your hair bundles and wigs. Avoid scrubbing too hard; instead, gently massage the shampoo through the hair. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
• Human hair bundles and wigs need moisture to maintain a natural, shiny look. Apply a lightweight conditioner or leave-in treatment after washing to keep the hair soft and hydrated. Avoid products with heavy oils as they can weigh down the hair.
• Use a wide-tooth comb or your fingers to detangle the hair gently, starting from the ends and working your way up. Avoid brushing the hair when it's wet, as it can cause breakage.
• Minimize heat styling on your hair extensions or wigs to prevent dryness and split ends. If you need to style with heat, always use a heat protectant spray.
• When not in use, store your wigs and bundles in a satin bag or on a wig stand to maintain their shape and prevent tangling. This keeps the hair in top condition and ready to wear.
• If you're wearing your bundles overnight, tie your hair with a silk or satin scarf to reduce friction and prevent frizz. For wigs, store them properly to avoid unnecessary wear and tear.
• Avoid wearing hair extensions or wigs in pools or the ocean, as chlorine and saltwater can dry out and damage the hair. If you do, rinse and deep-condition the hair immediately afterward.
• Deep condition every two weeks or as needed, especially if the hair feels dry or lacks shine. This will keep your hair soft, smooth and easy to manage.
• Avoid using too many styling products, as they can build up and make the hair look dull. A light serum for shine and a minimal amount of leave-in conditioner are usually enough.
